We'll meet up and go on a fascinating excursion, agreeing on a meeting place in advance. We will reach the village of Isunga on the outskirts of Kibale National Park, home to both the Batoro and Bakiga people. These tribes are very interesting for their history.
The first thing you may hear from other Ugandan peoples is that the Bakiga are 'people who work hard'. They are also referred to as 'inflexible', a quality common to people living in mountainous areas.
On this tour, you will experience both cultures. You will be able to participate in various cultural activities such as a baby naming ceremony, traditional gardening and cooking lessons, traditional music and dancing.
