- First of all, we will pick you up at the hotel where you are staying. From Giza or Cairo we will head to the most famous landmark of Egypt – the Pyramids of Giza. This is the Wonder of the Ancient World, the only one that has survived. To build such big structures is not an easy task even nowadays, you will be amazed. It goes without saying, that the Pyramids must be seen by every tourist in Egypt. In total there are three Great Pyramids: Khafre, Mykerin and Cheops. After visiting these monumental structures we will sit on camels and ride through the desert and then rest and have lunch.
- The next stop on our tour is the Great Sphinx. This is one of the most famous sights of Egypt, an impressive sculpture, which length is 73 meters, and height is 20 meters. The Sphinx is a beast with the head of a man and the body of a lion, the head is crowned with a headdress. However, the ancient Egyptians themselves never called this statue "the Great Sphinx", since the word "Sphinx" itself is of Greek origin. Thus, the Egyptians called the sculpture "Shesep-ankh", which literally translates as "living image". During our tour, we will explore all these sights and find out when and for what reason all these monumental structures were erected, what is their history.
